What i Expect to Have Obtained by The End of This COURSE!

The course is about both grammar and writing; therefore, what I will obviously be expecting to have obtained by the end of this semester is an advanced writing style and an enhanced comprehension of English grammar.

Up to this point, considering the improvements I have made so far, everytime i am writing an essay, being aware of the fact that I am - to some extent - punctuating it the way it is internationally acceptable gives me a great feeling of satisfaction.

What I will be expecting, by the time I finish this course, is to have mastered the ability to state my thoughts and transfer the main points in the clearest and most obvious way. I will hopefully be able to differentiate between multiple kinds of writing and know when and how to use the formal and informal language. It is very important to know how advanced is advanced and prevent exagerating in writing. I also have to be careful with the choice of words, so that the main point will be clarrified in the most appropriate and comprehensive way; therefore, by the end of the course i will have the knowledge to do so.

P.S. I am still SO DETERMINEDLY looking forward to prove that considering the rule that we have to use an object for "Do you mind [...] saying", "Trust [...] saying", etc, both "me" and "my" are accepted - even from a grammatical perspective.

What I Expect to Have Obtained by the Time I Graduate

At this very moment, to be truthful, as a matter of utter confusion, I don't really know what I expect to have learned by the end of this semester. The goal, which is naturally supposed to have been achieved by the time I graduate, is to become an English translator or an interpretor.

The improvements so far, have been the boost of my self confidence -which I had never expected or thought would change this much; moreover, I believe that my vocabulary knowledge, the quality of my writings, and also my fluency in speaking have all improved considerably. By the use of what I have learned so far, I think my writings are more professional and advanced - compared to how informal i used to write previously. Punctuating my compositions was also one serious issue I had been facing before I learned how to deal with it.

Therefore, the most important of all, what i expect to have mastered is English translation which is my own major. My second most important goal is to have a vast knowledge of English language and its culture, which consists of all four skills; namely, listening, speaking, reading and writing. The side-goal which i will have achieved by the end of my BA graduation is the ability of communicating and socializing as a matter of higher self confidence.

" EN SHA'ALLAH!!!"
